FSSAI License Validity & Renewal

FSSAI license is issued to food businesses for a minimum validity period of 1 year and a maximum period of 5 years. ü a food business must apply for renewal of existing license 30 days before the expiry. ü A penalty of ₹100 per day until the renewal is done, will apply to the food business in case of Non-restoration/ renewal of license. ü Any lapse in renewal of a license within the specified date can result in the old license becoming invalid and food businesses will have to apply for a fresh FSSAI (Food License) registration.
